A curvette hat in blue felt with pink felt flowers and green leaves. Velvet ribbon over an open crown originally tied into a bow. The curvette is a brimless (calot) hat with an open crown which was pinned in place on the crown of the head. They were often decorated with flowers, netting, beading and sequins and were worn over freshly styled hair. They were a popular choice in the 1940s.
